CURBSIDE SERVICE IS NOW IN FULL GEAR.  NO ONE IS ALLOWED INTO THE BUILDING, but you can call or email us to request items and we will deliver them to your trunk or backseat.  Call to place your request then call again when you are in the front circle drive. Franklin Public Library : (248) 851-2254What can you request? basically anything.  You can now place holds on items from other libraries:New material for adults, young adults and kidsbooks, audiobooks, graphic novels, DVDs...NEW DVDs: you can't place holds on new DVDs, but you can call us to reserve a specific movie or show and we will set it aside for you to pick up.MAGAZINES: like for new DVDs, give us a call and come pickup up to three magazines of your choiceNEWSPAPERS: call us to get the NEW YORK TIMES or DETROIT FREE PRESS of the day, enjoy reading the news in our Reading Garden, then put the newspaper back in our Dropbox when you leave. Or ask us about free digital access to the WALL STREET JOURNAL and DETROIT FREE PRESS.PHOTOCOPIES / PRINTING / FAX: we can print or fax for you, providing you email us your file to franklinlibrarymi@gmail.com or you hand us a flash drive, or a page, to photocopy / fax. EVERYTHING MUST BE HANDED CURBSIDE WITH A MASK ON.SPECIAL ASSISTANCE for elderly or immune compromised patrons: call us to order material on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, and your librarians will take them to your house after their shift, WITHIN FRANKLIN LIMITS.TAKE MAKE CRAFTS FOR KIDS: we have assembled easy DIY crafts for kids to take home and make at their leisure. Call to reserve and pickup a kit!BOREDOM BUSTER GRAB BAGS: we have set up special Grab Bags filled with second hand books (mostly weeded material). Some have a theme (eg. thrillers), some are for kids or teens, some are non-fiction, some are a mix....
