Our office is acting in accordance with UH recommendations to mitigate the COVID-19 outbreak as well as taking guidance from the relevant testing agencies will function as follows: For remote proctoring options for Standardized Tests (e.g., ACT, SAT, GRE, LSAT), please visit the respective testing agency website; see the Tests Offered page by each test name. Students scheduled for standardized tests will receive messaging about cancellations or alternate testing procedures directly from the testing agency. The TSI Assessment be given remotely until further notice. Students interested in taking the TSI should: • Complete the TSI Pre-Assessment • Submit the TSI Remote Request Form A testing voucher generated by ACCUPLACER will be sent with instructions on how to proceed with scheduling and completing the TSI assessment. Once the assessment is completed, the scores will be uploaded to the student’s record. Departmental credit and placement exams • Arabic, Hindi, Spanish, and Vietnamese Placement/and or credit tests are available for remote proctoring. Please visit the Tests Offered page, register for tests, and select the remote proctoring option. • Other departmental credit and placement exams will be scheduled and administered remotely as feasible or postponed until possible to administer in person. • Students with questions about impacts on degree or graduation plans should contact their academic advisors. Questions about test credits (e.g., AP, IB, CLEP) after consultation with academic advisors may be sent by email to pdaniel@uh.edu Students interested in CLEP assessments should first consult with their academic advisor regarding applicability to degree program and then email pdaniel@uh.edu for testing options.
