TEC Contractings Story

Total Electrical Construction Pty Ltd, trading as TEC Contracting is a wholly Australian owned company that operates under a certified Integrated Management System with endorsed Safety, Quality and Environmental plans in place.

We have 2 locations in South Australia, a depot in Whyalla and our head office at Port Pirie about 220km north of Adelaide. The majority of the work undertaken by TEC Contracting is civil, mechanical and electrical contracting of a commercial, industrial and heavy industrial nature.

We have also been principle contractor for multi-discipline contracts. Our future goal is to expand operations and provide quality construction to all levels of industry.

We have been developing our client base over the last few years to include amongst others: Nyrstar, BHP Billiton, Air Liquide, Incitec Pivot, SA Water, Tenix Alliance, United Water, ABB Grain, BIS Industrial Logistics, Dermody Petroleum, GPA Engineering, AGL, Capital PO Logistics, McMahon Services, Perilya, Theiss, Veolia, Broadcast Australia and Tagara Group.

Some of the contracts that we have completed are Water Treatment plants for Port Pirie and Victor Harbor, major works for the Nyrstar (formally Zinifex) Port Pirie Lead Smelter 20 year shutdown, constructing water pump stations on the Gold Coast and completion of civil infrastructure works for the Port Pirie Lifestyle Village Development.

A great partnership approach done safely and removed redundant and hazardous technology to improve the safety of the operations.
