Scruff of the Neck Records won ‘Best Small Label’ at the AIM Awards in 2019, the only company outside of London nominated for any award. In 2020 we signed a global distribution deal with Believe Digital and now have a fast evolving international set-up with head office forever based in Manchester. Scruff of the Neck Publishing was formed in 2020 with a vision to cultivate more collaboration for our writers and artists we believe in. Scruff of the Neck Live is a boutique national promoter and since inception the company has run over 2,000 events across gigs, concerts, tours and festivals across the UK and Europe. Festival stages include UK tastemakers such as The Great Escape and Y Not? Festival as well as a showcase at the world’s biggest music and arts conference SXSW in Austin, Texas.
