Blank, unregistered seals or ledgers can be used to purchase licences from home through your web account while avoiding the need for mail delivery. Simply enter the seal or ledger number when you purchase your licence and the seal/ledger will be assigned to your licence immediately upon completing the purchase. Angling, spring hunting and trapping licences for the new licence year are on sale beginning April 1, 2020.The 2020 Anglers Guide and the 2020 Saskatchewan Black Bear are available to download at the Government of Saskatchewan website.A second Black Bear Licence is now available for Saskatchewan residents, valid in Wildlife Management Zones 17, 30, 32 to 50 and 52 to 55, including Duck Mountain and Greenwater Lake provincial parks, Round Lake Recreation Site (portion within WMZ 48) and in Fort a la Corne Wildlife Management Unit. A hunter may hold both a First and Second Black Bear Licence.Applications for the 2020 Saskatchewan Resident Big Game Draw and Canadian Resident White-tailed Deer Draw can be submitted from May 1st to 25th. Information about the draw including available 2020 draw hunting opportunities will be available prior to May 1st.Honourably discharged veterans of the Canadian military are able to obtain free angling or hunting licences (not including big game draw or guided opportunities). Eligible trappers must have had their account enabled for the licences to be available. Trappers who purchased a licence in 2018 or 2019 have had their accounts enabled.
