THE MEDIEVAL WOMAN WEBSITE Designed as a springboard for those who wish to learn a little more about the medieval woman: what she wears and why, how to be beautiful according to medieval standards, her personal hygiene and a little about a medieval woman's life - clothing and dress accessories, celebrations and the customs associated with key events in her life- births, deaths, marriages, employment, education, pets and how she spent her days at home and on holidays. There's my sewing galleries, a shopping page, a bibliography and a bunch of other stuff there too! THE BOOK The Very Secret Sex Lives of Medieval Women will be coming to a bookstore or a kindle near you soon! This link takes you to all the book-y things. THE BLOG This is mostly about medieval women, but there will be some book things here too- and lots of cool things I've learned about the very secret sex lives of medieval women while writing the book. THE ARTIFACT COLLECTION I also have my very own medieval artifact collection of 13th to 15th century pieces, mostly dress accessories like buckles, brooches and belt mounts, but I have some other really cool things here too! How to make your own pattern, easy medieval clothes to make with step-by-step guides and instructions, plus how to do those finishing touches, like buttonholes and making buttons! TALKS Where you'll see what talks and workshops I do. Sometimes, I'm at medieval festivals, other times at special events.
