These are quilts 4 and 5 of the 12 I hope to complete by the end of the year. They are going to a charity that provides quilts for people going through cancer treatments. I want people to see that charity quilts can be fun, fast, and good looking!They were quilted by my friend Sharyn of Huntley Quilting Studio.

This is my latest pattern Rise, out now in the new issue of Make Modern.The bottom photo shows my inspiration which is a column in the Casino du Lac Leamy in the Ottawa-Hull area. Sadly the quilt is upside down in the photo because I felt very conspicuous taking the photo and just hurried LOL! I don't have much to show because I've been sick the last few days but these are some things I have been working on.
The pillows are a lot of fun and I have several more ideas of ones I want to try.
The oven mitt/hot pad combo is fun as well but sewing the binding on the hot pads takes forever and my machine stitching isn't good enough.
