Please note that practice time is provided free of charge for members of Leaside Curling Club; non-members must pay for ice time and must sign a waiver and provide proof of full vaccination for covid-19 before they can use ice at the club.
While we have previously booked up to 4 individual members per sheet for practice, we have suspended this practice in light of covid-19 concerns (you can still book practice for up to 4 members at a time assuming all of you have agreed to practice together).
Practice Ice
Practice Ice Guidelines:
1) Practice time is booked for a period of 1 hour.2) Please advise the office if there are multiple people coming to practice with you.3) Makeup games take priority over practice. Based on information received to date, here are key dates members may want to make note of for the start of next season. Please consider these "draft" for now. Schedules for all leagues/events will be confirmed once we are closer to the start of the season.

Tuesday October 12: 4 pm - 8 pm
Wednesday October 13: noon - 7 pm
Thursday October 14: 9 am - 8 pm
Friday October 15: 9 am - 9 pm
Saturday October 16: 9 am - 6 pm
Sunday October 17: 8:30 am - 8 pm
Registration is now open for our season opening beginner clinics! These clinics, run by the LCC Education Committee, are aimed at LCC members who have never curled before, or who are in need of a review of the basics of curling. Focus will be on safety; rock delivery; and sweeping. Cost is $20 per person.

If your memory is anything like mine, it's not always as good as you'd like it to be. If you're trying to remember how to update some of your contact or other information in our database, then read on!
We have always had a few members who, for unknown reasons, have not received any e-mails or newsletters sent out by the club. More recently, it appears that Rogers has blocked mass e-mails being sent out by the club, possibly thinking they are Spam. We now have a new item on our Member Menu (ie. you must be logged in to the member-only portion of the website): Member E-mails. Click on this, and you will see a complete list of all e-mails and newsletters that have been sent out from our web platform. With this new feature, you can rest assured that you're getting access to all important information being sent out to Leaside Curling Club members.
