Put-in-Bay s only full service conference center. Capable of holding groups up to 500 people. Dizzy Lizard: The Islander Inn features Put-in-Bay’s Original Swim-Up Bar, The Dizzy Lizard. With 9 seats in the water, and 15 bar stools on land, the Dizzy Lizard is the perfect spot to spend your afternoon on Lake Erie’s South Bass Island. This is the bar that changed how afternoons spent at Put-in-Bay. No longer were visitors forced to sit in the same dark, uncomfortable bars that smelled terrible while the same entertainer played the same island songs over and over. We got people out of those places and into the sunshine and pools! We have plenty of space to relax, party and play in our courtyard. In addition to a live DJ on the weekends, we also have a putting green and corn hole boards to challenge your friends. The drinks are cold, the pools are cool and the party is hot at Put-in-Bay's Original Swim-up Bar. Surrounding the pool bar is another large pool and a 30 person jacuzzi. The Dizzy Lizard is open from mid May all the way through mid September, weather permitting. Crash Landing: Crash Landing separates the front of our courtyard from the rear and features a large lazy river style pool with an island in the middle filled with pool chairs. A waterfall flows into the pool from the nose of the plane that 'crashed' on top of the bar many years ago. This unique bar also has some swings right at the bar for adults! Crash Landings is open on weekends from Memorial Day weekend through Labor day weekend, weather permitting.
