This week, the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ (ECA) Sports Diplomacy Division will launch the Get Fit virtual campaign. Throughout 2020, the U.S. Department of State is celebrating the 80th anniversary of its flagship professional exchange program, the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). ECA's program design and innovation office, the Collaboratory, pilots using crowd-sourcing and citizen science for a virtual exchange program involving middle and high school students in Paraguay, Brazil, Thailand and Kenya. Study Abroad The U.S. Department of State offers full scholarships for American high school students to study abroad. Cultural Heritage Center Specializing in the protection and preservation of these irreplaceable resources, working on many fronts to safeguard the patrimony of other countries. Sports Diplomacy Sports diplomacy uses the universal passion for sports as a way to transcend linguistic and sociocultural differences and bring people together. IVLP Connects current and emerging foreign leaders with their American counterparts via short-term programs. Fulbright Program Designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
