Looks like Noctis, is about to ask for permission to torturer...er question the prisoners....maybe Cent can get them to speak with threats of a cassian continuing the interrogation... Threats are different than torture. Noctis is probably just going to suggest that CentComm tell the prisoners that a request has been made to extradite them to Nova Roma. If they continue to refuse to talk, they’ll be handed over, while if they cooperate they will remain in New Troy custody. That might produce interesting results.Of course, Noctis could also suggest having Ophelia question them. I bet they would start talking pretty quickly... By my count, there are THREE Cassians in NT ATM.If the threat of ONE Cassian isn t enough to convince them to talk, having THREE of them showing up to the interrogation room at the same time might cause a Code Brown ... On another note, is ordering an ‘audit of persons of interest’ the same thing as ‘rounding up the usual suspects’? Does New Troy have a “Rick’s Cafe”?In order to achieve what they did, what knowledge and access would someone have needed? Who could have supplied them with those? Once she has that list, look at each person on that list for anything suspicious (eg are they living beyond their means)?{edit}Given the fact that the perpetrators had access to Decimus’s voice codes, she probably needs to coordinate with New Rome authorities.That said I suspect that this meeting was, mainly, going to look at the golden warrior threat. If Cent were to set aside an area for New Rome to use as a Embassy, The prisoners would not have to be moved very far to be considered |on Nova Roma territory . And, yes, having the three Cassians there would make for a very warm welcome. And they d need to exchange Ambassadors, now who does Nova Roma want out of their city to pester someone else ? :)But if they wanted to do it right, who might make a half-decent Ambassador ? Hrist ? Perhaps you just haven t yet asked them the right questions ... in the proper tone of voice...
