Come along – you don't have to be a runner!What I'm Doing This YearI'll be running around like a headless chicken, mainly.1. Commoners Choir have a new album out NOW. It's called 'Untied Kingdom'.2. I'm writing that book about GaryDevine, punk fell running champion. It's called 'Faster! Louder!' and will be published by Great Northern Books.3. I'm about to start a year of work with brilliant theatre-maker Dan Bye, all about the philosophy of running – SEE ABOVE.4. I'm continuing to work with writer Sarah Woods on a musical about squatting, called 'Ruff Tuff Cream Puff Estate Agency'. That's with the amazing Cardboard Citizens theatre company in London.5. I'm also working with Sarah on another project with Welsh National Opera and Oasis, a Cardiff-based centre for refugees and asylum seekers.6. I'm writing the music for another musical, set in Liverpool around a bakery called Home Baked which is a brilliant community-run project in the shadow of Anfield football ground. It'll hopefully be ready for Liverpool Royal Court Theatre in summer 2021.
