Travis Button I love this album because Joel is a mysterious man with pigtails and a fannypack that kept showing up at all the same shows as me over a 48 hr period in LA which sent me on a mission to find out more about him which then led me to Alaska. This album kicks ass, Joel kicks ass, Alaska kicks ass. Chester Cun Awesome drumming, guitar work, and scream/shout vocals. Basically everything is awesome! These guys are the new Native. Come play a show in Seattle! Favorite track: Hashish Christo. Greg Hutch Hometown heroes come through with a polished follow-up to EiF. Cody and Joel pave the way, the former adding his intricate lead riffs and the latter keeping the rhythm while screaming into microphones, with Nick sick beats Strader bangin away while Tyler grooves along with him (diggin his vocals as well). Favorite track: Helluv. David Lewis Beautiful mix of shouted vocals and great shoegazy singing keeps a balance in tone for the entire album. The drums are extremely tight and complex, creating a great backdrop for the intricate and dreamy guitar. A new favorite, and one I will be following closely. Favorite track: Momming.
