Rayola Osanya,known to friends as Rhysce, is a soccer-crazy, music-loving Christian, husband, father and twin who was born in New York City, raised in East and North Africa, baptized in Brooklyn, New York, and, after serving on missions and in the ministry in Kenya, Ethiopia and Rwanda, and working for HOPE worldwide Kenya, returned to the United States where he is now with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in New York City and teaches management as an adjunct professor at New Jersey City University School of Business. Rayola and his wife Georgeanne help lead the singles ministry in the New Jersey Region of the New York City Church of Christ. They have a teenage son, Paul.
