NERO proposes the development of materials for the injection of case box for car batteries (based on thermoplastic material) with 10 times higher thermal conductivity than current polymers, allowing to obtain lightweight functional structure for vehicle manufacturing. Besides, the new thermoplastic components will comply fire retardancy standards for vehicles, being an option for other parts.”

DEVELOPMENT OF NEW ANTISTATIC PLASTICS FOR THEIR USE WITHIN AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR – DISSIPLAST

DISSIPLAST scopes the production of dissipative polymers for automotive pieces of plastic by the development of

new cost-effective, chemical compatibility, high permanent conductivity, colourability, performance additives with

lower dosage. To achieve this aim, DISSIPLAST propose the development of antistatic compounds by the use of

non miscible blends of polar/non polar polymers to create a 3D conductive network
