DE.TEC.TOR. is a sparkling reality founded in 2009 as University of Turin spin-out company.
In this team we develop innovative products from the design concept to theirs manufacturing.

Our founding mission was transforming innovative technology into state-of-the art detectors applied in particle therapy.
Particle therapy is an oncological technique based on accelerated ions hitting a target. The main goal of particle therapy is the tumour treatment while sparing the healthy tissues in the surrounding diffusion path. This approach takes advantage of the way ions interact with the medium, releasing the main part of their energy in a specific position inside a volume. The result is an increase of complication-free tumour cure.

During these years we had the opportunity to take part in Italian and international research projects and to carry out various product design and development, enhancing our scientific, engineering and management expertises.
Today DE.TEC.TOR. is a hi-tech company offering engineered particle physics solutions for clinical applications in advanced radiotherapy and for non-destructive quality test in industrial applications.
