Leave a commentAfter already racing successfully in Sweden for a week, Team Coop – Hitec Products has also done well in the Tour of Scandinavia. In the World Tour race that had one stage in both Denmark and Sweden, and then four stages in Norway, all riders of the team showed themselves. Josie Nelson surprised with the best result of the week, a 4th place on the queen stage on Saturday, that finished on top of Norefjell. Mari Hole Mohr won the jersey of best Norwegian rider on the final stage.

Good Swedish week in Uppsala and Vargarda
Leave a commentTeam Coop – Hitec Products performed really well in Sweden this week. First the team took a stage win with Mari Hole Mohr in the Tour of Uppsala and then the second place in the general classification of that UCI 2.1 race. After becoming twelfth in the team time trial in Vargarda on Saturday, the team then did very good again in the Women’s World Tour road race on Sunday. Nicole Steigenga finished 7th. On Tuesday the Tour of Scandinavia starts.

Stine Dale joins Team Coop – Hitec Products
Leave a commentThe Norwegian based UCI-continental women’s Team Coop – Hitec Products are happy to announce they have signed a new rider. Stine Dale joins the team with immediate effect. Dale, who is a triathlete acting on international level as well and will combine both sports, impressed at the Norwegian championships. The 23-years-old rider became 6th on the individual time trial, using a normal race bike instead of a time trial bike. In the road race she was very active and got 11th.

Jessica and Josie chasing medals at Commonwealth Games
Leave a commentWhile the team awaits a Scandinavian race program with first the Tour of Uppsala, then the World Tour team time trial and road in Vargarda end last the Tour of Scandinavia, two riders have a different program. Jessica Roberts and Josie Nelson will be competing at the Commonwealth Games, which are organised in Birmingham. For Jessica the event already started, as with Wales she on Friday got fourth on the team pursuit.

Team makes the best of it in Baloise Ladies Tour
Leave a commentBeing down to two riders after three days, Team Coop – Hitec Products has made the best of it in the Baloise Ladies Tour. Both Jessica Roberts and Sylvie Swinkels finished the race, with Jessica getting a 22nd place in the general classification, after a 21st place in the time trial on Saturday. It was again confirmation of her growing form, with the Commonwealth Games coming up soon.

Jessica Roberts gains confidence in Districtenpijl
Leave a commentIn the Districtenpijl – Ekeren-Deurne, Jessica Roberts showed herself in the frontline again on Sunday. The 23-years-old British rider has some rough years behind her and is getting the time at Team Coop – Hitec Products to find her old form back. On Sunday that resulted in her first UCI-points in one and a half years, as she sprinted to the 13th place in the UCI 1.1 race. Four riders managed to stay ahead.”
