The Union Internationale des Chauffeurs Routiers (UICR) and its member associations collectively represent +- 1,800,000 Professional Drivers Worldwide.

Pioneering efforts honoured

UICR awards the prestigious titles of “Transport company of the Year” the “Driver of the Year” and calls for the yearly “International Day for Professional Drivers”. The UICR also organizes every two years the “Professional Driver World Championship” a three-day event of safe and skillfully driving of trucks, buses and vans.

Driver of the Year

The Driver of the Year Award is an award founded in 1967 by Robert Kastner. Today it is privately owned and the voting panel consists of Members of the International Council of the UICR

Transport Company of the Year

This award recognises the Transport Operators of all types that, over the past 12 months, can best demonstrate excellence or the achievement of a significant goal. national appointed by the drivers and check/interview by the local UICR representative.
