Yorkshire Squash and Racketball Association ask that all clubs, venues and facilities follow Government and England Squash guidance in operating their facilities in a safe manner for everyone to use. The Yorkshire Squash League remains suspended until further notice. With the health and wellbeing of our squash players our main consideration at this point we feel continuing to stage team squash matches is not the right approach. Updates At the AGM of Yorkshire SRA (see the minutes under About Us on the website), it was agreed that the Yorkshire League results and tables will stand as the final tables for the 2019-20 season, and we congratulate the divisional winners – Abbeydale, Doncaster and Chapel Allerton 4. Trophies will be presented at a Yorkshire event when it is possible to do so All competitive activity for the 2020-21 season, including the Yorkshire League, County Championships and other events, is in abeyance until further notice. Meanwhile, our Development Officers are focussing on supporting individual venues and coaches to prepare for the full opening of courts for squash and racketball. Yorkshire Squash and Racketball Association exists to promote and support Squash and Racketball throughout the county of Yorkshire Yorkshire Squash promotes squash and racketball in the county. We have a team of volunteers, two part time development officers and a committee which meets every 3 months. We work with England Squash, clubs venues, coaches and players to promote our sports. Yorkshire League Squash The Yorkshire League is underway, keep up to date with the latest results and match reports... Local Leagues Yorkshire has 8 local leagues which we support and work with to promote squash and racketball... England Squash We work with England Squash to help with marketing, coaching courses, tournament and national events... Tournaments Squash and racketball tournaments are run from Under 9’s to Over 70’s. England Squash also host information on all tournaments... County Representation Yorkshire encourages county representation many age groups – from the Northern Cup at Under 9 to the ICC open and masters events – up to Over 65’s... Women's Squash RB There are lots of opportunities for women to play squash and racketball. We have a host of great female coaches and initiatives, from Women’s Squash Day... We encourage junior squash through our volunteers, through England Squash tournaments and county events...
