NSBE held an info session with IBM, an American IT company with operations in over 180 countries. They provide services to a large variety of industries such as energy, manufacturing, oil gas, electronics, among many others. If you re majoring in software engineering, this company is for you. This was a fun and relaxing workshop where the NSBE folks learned how to be a better communicator and build stronger relationships. There were also some sick goodies distributed. NSBE members got tips on how to get dem sweet gainzz at the gym. They learned about planning out diets and that the BMI measurement system is complete trash. With the tips they ve learned, the attendees are on a fast track to getting swole.I am a Junior level student working on my Chemical Engineering degree. I have a healthy dose of artistic and coding skills and am also learning Spanish, Japanese, and Korean. I love helping out in the community when opportunities pop up and being an enabler to other s success.I am a Junior Chemical Engineering student, and it is a privilege to serve as the Chair this year. A fun fact about me is I am a born and raised islander. Some goals of mine are to RECRUIT, RETAIN ENGAGE and EMPOWER our members, also to cultivate a very inclusive environment as we continue to spread our NSBE LUV with our new and continuing members.I am a junior studying mechanical engineering and a fun fact about me is I like to travel. My goals are to develop our members not only professionally but personally through workshops and committees.
