Together they produce the proper balance of well-engineered architectural products with creativity and artistic beauty. Our multi-phased approach allows us to initiate design on paper, then clay, and finally stone or metal. This provides our clients with greater control, allowing us to make refinements at every stage.Artisan Granite, LLCQuality.We Use Only Traditional MaterialsAll of our statuary is carved from solid stone blocks or cast in bronze. We do not deal in cast-stone, resin, or “engineered stone” products of any kind. The carving is completed using a combination of hand tools and hand-held electric powertools. For our stone statuary, we typically use marble. We do make some statues in granite, limestone, and travertine as well. Marble is the material of choice in most cases, due to its excellent balance between workability and durability. An untreated marble statue installed outdoors in a 4-season climate will have over 100 years longevity. Bronze is a maintenance-free material that will endure for hundreds of years in an outdoor environment, exposed to the elements.Care.We Enjoy Making Each Project SpecialOur philosophyis to take the time and care needed to make eachproject a beautiful and unique piece of art.
