We are pleased to announce the following results from the recent elections for positions on the AATSEEL Executive Council. We are grateful to all the candidates for their willingness to run. Karen Evans-Romaine (University of Wisconsin – Madison) has been elected President. Lindsay Ceballos (Lafayette College) and Ani Kokobobo (University of Kansas) have been elected to serve as vice presidents. On behalf of the organization, AATSEEL's Executive Council has endorsed MLA's Statement on COVID-19 and Academic Labor, which requests that institutions thoughtfully adjust their practices to address the disruption and negative consequences caused by the pandemic.
