Select a traditional 6-week term to focus on one or two classes, or immerse yourself in a single course in a 4-week intensive term. For Duke Students Our Summer Session gives current undergraduates and incoming transfer students a way to catch up on their courses, focus on more difficult classes, or jump ahead in their studies so they can engage in other programs like Study Abroad. Summer College Our Summer College for High School Students is a 4-week, credit-bearing program that immerses 10th - 12th grade students into the college experience. This elite program lets them study with Duke under- graduates, socialize with peers from around the world, and position themselves for future collegiate success. Summer Academy Our Summer Academy and Accelerated STEM Academy programs offer transformative opportunities for 9th – 12th grade students.  Participants in these programs engage in interactive courses that provide a global perspective of leadership and development. For Visiting College Students Duke University Summer Session is not only for Duke undergraduates. College students from around the world can participate in this program and study at one of the nation’s premiere universities with its high-caliber faculty and majestic campus.The program is available for students — U.S. based and international — who are currently enrolled at college or university, or recently graduated.
