1) What small particle is responsible for electricity?

2) If I rub two balloons on my hair,  and put them on a table, they will push each other away. Why?

3) Draw a circuit with 2 lamps in series and one lamp in parallel (so 3 lamps, in total).

(Answers).

1) Electrons

2) When you rub the balloons on your hair, they both become negatively charged (gain electrons from your hair). When you put them next to each other, they push apart because like charges (charges that are the same) repel.

1. Building Food Webs:

a) You need to build a food web. Click on the arrows (pil) and connect them to the correct organisms. See if you can figure out what eats what.

3. Evolution (you need to know) Evidence (you dont need to know)

Bone structure. This shows how all of these 4 organisms had a common ancestor with a common bone structure. As they specialized to their environment, the arms were used for different things and the bone structure changed a little bit.

Embryos (the cells that grow inside the mother) notice how alike the pig and the human are. This shows that pigs and  humans had a common ancestor fairly recently in our evolution.
