We support you on your journeyas you make choices to raise a healthy family. Your children’s health and well-being is ourprimary goal. In addition to one-on-one doctor patient relationships, we also have the addedresponsibility of caring for all our Monroe Pediatric children as a group. While we respect and support the decisions each family makes for their children, we hope youcan respect the decision we are now making for all our Monroe Pediatric family. Over the years, while we disagree, we have reluctantly supported families who have chosen to delayvaccination. We are now concerned that the number of children unvaccinated and undervaccinated in our community is a serious risk. The personal risk of not vaccinating is nowexpanding beyond the individual and into our community and office. After much consideration, we have decided that this risk is now too great. If you choose not tovaccinate your children according to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control, we can no longer be your pediatricians. We sincerely hope that each one of you chooses to vaccinate so that we can see an end to deadly vaccine preventable illnesses and so that we can continue to care for your beautiful children. We will continue to care for children who are medically unable to receive vaccines and believe this policy will better protect them as well as our most vulnerable newborns.Sincerely,The Physicians of Monroe Pediatric Associates Main Office - (845) 782-8616Billing Dept. - (845) 783-5723Medical Records Correspondence - (845) 782-7127Insurance Referrals - (845) 782-3248 Allied Physicians Group has proudly earned Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
