The Jeffco Hurricanes are a year-round team in Colorado that unites the swimmers of North Jeffco Swim Team (Arvada Wheat Ridge) and the Evergreen Hurricanes Swim Team (Evergreen) which creates a USA Swim team. By combining these three sites, we offer our swimmers increased opportunities for training and competition in a supportive environment where they can push themselves to achieve their athletic best. Swimmers join the team closest to their home. The Evergreen site offers a competitive swim program to mountain area youth of all abilities and potential. This community-based swim team encourages swimmers to strive for their personal best while helping to develop important life skills and a strong personal character. The primary practice facility is the Wulf Recreation Center located behind Evergreen High School at 5300 South Olive Road. At an elevation of 7200 feet, high altitude training is normal for this team! The pool is an indoor 25 yard / 6 lane pool with a gradual increasing depth 3 1/2 to 11 feet.TAGS:Swim Hurricanes Jeffco
