The destructiveness that occurred in our Nation s Capital on January 6, 2021 has shown conclusively that social problems can never be addressed through political means. As the result of the still unrecognized transformation of American society from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian, the functional relationship of the components of the two party system has changed from attractive opposition to antagonistic opposition. This means that it is not possible for politicians belonging to the Democratic and the Republican Parties to work together for the well being of America because of the irreconcilable ideologically based, political differences between them. In general, the Democratic Party seems to be pro-American but it is covertly opposed to the principles that America has traditionally stood for while the Republican Party is still basically pro-American. What probably happened to cause the chaos and mayhem was that an originally peaceful movement of people protesting the 2020 election results became infiltrated by the emotional plague, reactionary groups from the political extreme right and radical groups from the political extreme left. However, the emotional plague attack that occurred on that day is only part of the picture. It is people s unawareness that keeps them from having a deeper understanding of what happened. Today, the emotional plague from the political left is actively at work politicizing almost every area of human life. However, all partisan political involvement, not just the censorship by the media that is happening from the left, is essentially people s defensive function originating from their armor that prevents them from looking inward and seeing that the outwardly directed socio-political ideologies have nothing to do with the bio-emotional origin of their personal problems. On a social level, leftist ideologues rewriting America s history by distorting it according to their pre-existing views about the ways things should be in our society, amounts to repression on a mass scale. It is intended to wipe out people s contact with themselves and with the memory of their nation s historical past. Systematically tearing down historical statues by leftist ideologues is another example of social repression. These are some of the destructive manifestations of the emotional plague from the political left. They are being permitted and supported in today s anti-authoritarian society by many people who have the authority for maintaining law and order but do not have the ability to exercise it by exposing the plague. The effect on the mindless public is that they are becoming even more out of touch with themselves and with their sense of loyalty and patriotism to America. It places Americans at the mercy of far left ideologues who will use the power generated by the vacuum that is created by the absence of authority to manipulate people s lives and promise them a bright, better, new, communist future for America. This will be provided by the Democratic Party (aka CPUSA), members who were duly elected to political power by the clueless American people themselves.Because all people are armored, the components of society as a whole had to armor in order for it to function. Some examples of these necessary forms of armored social organizations are the police, the military and the various governmental agencies that regulate the nation and its economy. The function of the radical left is to destroy America. Its mode of operation can be understood in its agenda for America, to attack and destroy these necessary forms of social armor. Another method of attack by them is to encourage people to engage in civil disobedience against America and to foment chaos whenever possible. Rationalized as political justice, its goal is to eliminate civility and increase social anxiety. These tactics are designed to mobilize, and bring to the social surface, destructive impulses contained in the American people s secondary layer. The effect is to destroy the existing American society and its government, take control of it and replace it with another form of social organization that controls the life of its people. All they have to do to be elected is to pretend to be who they seem to be on the social surface and maintain this political persona. Seasoned politicians display confidence that their facade, the face that they present to the public, serves them well politically. Their role of playing a savior is who the clueless public wants them to be. All that is required is a friendly smiling face and a few empty, reassuring words. Think of the larger than human images of Joseph Stalin and Chairman Mao of the past generations. For their part, most of today s public could care less about who and what their politicians really stand for. The fact that their leaders are political hacks that have accomplished nothing of importance in their careers as politicians means nothing to them.The 2020 presidential election has shown that the emotional plague of mankind cannot be dealt with politically. Since 2007, the suicide rates in general have increased in all ages and ethnic groups during the following decade. The reason for the rising suicide rate is unclear to child and adolescent psychiatrists. No information is being given about the early history or about the family lives of these young people, factors that are crucial to their emotional development. Not one word is said about the emotional destructiveness to youngsters resulting from the absence of contact with parental authority figures typical in today s anti-authoritarian families. The people whose responsibility it is to deal with the social problems resulting from the anti-authoritarian transformation are incapable of effectively doing their job because they lack the capacity for functional thinking about the social events that are happening. In the middle of the 20th century, with the development of electronic science on the microscopic scale unheard of advances happened in the technology of communication and in the development of computers for the benefit of everyone. Some computer scientists came along and declared that the mechanical computer could rival and even surpass the reasoning powers of the human mind. This led to the idea of artificial intelligence (AI) in computer technology, the mystical belief that eventually, human judgement could be replaced by the operations of robots. Around the same time, with the advent of psychopharmacology, psychiatrists began turning away from having personal contact with their patients and increasingly began using psychotropic drugs to treat them. They replaced the diagnostic system based on an understanding of the whole patient in favor of one focusing exclusively on symptoms. The upshot was that today psychiatric diagnosis and treatment is almost entirely symptom-based, pharmacological and mechanistic. The patient who has the symptom is ignored.As mechanistic thinking continues to invade and be dominant in the natural sciences, armored humans are slowly and imperceptibly being adapted to function robotically according to the machines that they are creating. This is an entirely new phenomenon in the emotional plague s destructive attack on human life. As a result, many armored people are in the process of being transformed into a new, neutered, machine-like breed which is unlike any creature that has existed in the history of civilization. The past authoritarian social order was based on the combined authority s of the father, the enforcer of the authoritarian moral code, and the mother, the bearer of that moral code. The formation of the child s Oedipus Complex along authoritarian lines was safeguarded in intact families by carrying out their parental responsibilities. In the past social order, respect for authority and, in particular, the authoritarian moral code of sexual repression prior to marriage, was the rule. The anti-authoritarian transformation of American society started around 1960. Around that time, the functions of the traditional parental roles in child-rearing and the structure of the authoritarian family itself became broken. Accompanying the political agitation for the sexual revolution movement led by leftist ideologues, young people s demands for greater sexual freedom was regarded as the magical solution to their yearning for sexual happiness. How this mystical state of happiness was to be realized was never discussed. The inevitable failure of their dreams was the background of the hellish social nightmare that occurred in college and university campuses throughout the nation in the 60s and in the following decades. At the same time, according to the new morality of sexual permissiveness, parents had to give up their right to be responsible for their children s behavior. This resulted, in effect, in the social ostracism (castration) of the authoritarian, sex-negative father not only from his own home but from all areas of social life where authority was required. With the new anti-authoritarian, anything goes morality, parents were left feeling impotent while their children experienced social alienation and personal disorientation. Instead of growing up to be independent adults, young people became arrested in their adolescence. Their frustrations often led to all kinds of perverse sexual activities or dependency on illicit drugs for emotional relief ( sex, drugs and rock n roll ). In effect, the misfiring of young people s sexual longing into substitute activities was the tragic fate of the post-World War II children, the Baby Boomers, and the generations that followed. Another consequence of the transformation was that the social mainstream shifted politically to the far-left of center. Today, young people s sexual longings, frustrations and miseries are still evaded as many of them are looking for political answers from the left for their personal problems. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and many other political freedom-peddlers from the far-left, are quick to appear on the stage promising outworn ( heaven on earth ) socialist answers to attract as many of the politically gullible, young masses as they can. As the leftist movement sweeps across the nation and the polarization between the political left and the right becomes irreversable, the demise of the two-party system in America is becoming a certainty. Far-left radicals have successfully infiltrated and taken control of the Democratic Party. With their control of that party together with the political support of many clueless young people, these combined forces are set to destroy what still remains healthy in American society . He postulates that structural causes in the brain are sufficient to explain biological functions and equates the structure of the brain with the human mind (a psychic function). As a neuroscientist, he is convinced that the brain is comparable to a computer and that mind uploading, preserving a persons consciousness in a digital afterlife, will one day happen because there are no laws of physics that stand in the way. It just depends on technology that has not yet been invented. This is an illustration of how the mechanistically oriented scientist resorts to mystical thinking to support his preformed mechanical hypothesis that requires an explanation: The neurons of the brain are working parts that are used over and over to create complexity Information flows through vast connected networks in complex and unpredictable patterns, [somehow] creating the mind (italics added). Early on in their medical education medical students today are taught to view the patient as a machine composed of individual organ systems, organs, etc. By focusing exclusively on the broken part of the machine (the disease ) they lose contact with the human being that has the affliction. Their mechanistic training makes them fall prey for the entrance of large corporations into the practice of medicine by hiring doctors and expecting them to practice medicine according to the time-saving, quantitative rules used in the business world. This fits in, hand and glove, with the mechanistic training of the physician. Private medical practice became transformed into corporate medical practice, another casualty of the anti-authoritarian transformation of our society. The takeover of medical practice by large corporations is an example of the intrusion of socialism, corporate socialism into the practice of medicine. What is lost is the authority of the doctor in the way he wants to practice medicine and the quality of the doctor-patient relationship. Comments 4 Comments In the medical treatment of any disease, success depends on having an accurate diagnosis. Short of this, the only treatment possible is symptomatic. The same principle applies to the treatment of diseases in the realm of social pathology. Calling mass shootings acts of terrorism is inaccurate because the pathologic source is generally unrecognized and it does not reveal the true nature of the underlying disease process. Terrorism is one of many symptoms of the pathologic human condition, emotional plague, a social disease of armored humans that can appear in many forms from both political extremes to the left and the right. Before seeing the whole picture of why these latest eruptions of the plague seemingly from the political right occurred, it is first necessary to understand the functional relationship of emotional plague between Black Fascism from the political far-right and Red Fascism from the political far-left. Black fascists typically react openly with violence to political activity from the left. Hence, they are referred to as reactionaries. By contrast, Red fascists are typically political activists and provocateurs. Their lives are spent actively undermining what still remains intact of the old authoritarian social order. This drives individuals with a Black Fascist character structure to engage in acts of brutality. The recent rise in mass shootings from the political extreme right are a reaction to the relentless, decades- long political agitation by political activists on the Left. From a functional viewpoint, the opposing forces of the left and the right are in a relationship of attractive opposition. The rise in political extremism and the polarization of politics today are signs of our current social disintegration. It started in America with the anti-authoritarian transformation and the political shift of the social mainstream to the left of center. This shift was bound to trigger a political reaction from the political Right that is becoming increasingly evident today with the rise in the frequency of mass shootings. The present social situation in chronic form is strikingly similar to what happened in Germany in acute form following its defeat in World War I. The social chaos and the economic devastation of that nation resulted in the infestation of the emotional plague, Red Fascism (communism) from the left. As a reaction to it and in an attempt to eradicate it led to a different manifestation of the plague, Black Fascism (Naziism) from the right. Using the tool of social orgonomy, it may be possible to prevent history from repeating itself. To mystify is to take something real and distort it into something unreal or an ideal. The Far-left mystifies language by distorting ordinary words and ideas and elevating them with a higher, moral meaning for political purposes. In effect, the mystical idea is misrepresented as reality in the following way: 1) Take a word any word -, 2) Distort its original meaning by mystifying it, 3) Politicizes it. This air-tight formula is another one of the ways that the emotional plague from the Far-left has found to attack life in America.For example, the concept of diversity, as in to make diverse , is used and popularized by academia and the political left so that it can be made to support the democratic idea of equality for all as a social ideal. First used in the affirmative action, equal opportunity movements, the purpose of this mystical notion was to give minority applicants to higher education a special boost, However, this kind of diversification in college entrance policies did not work. The idea of diversity of race, ethnicity, etc. had to be given equal value to diversity in the practice of the applicant s beliefs and feelings in the campus environment. Instead of simply taking part in America s educational system and becoming familiar with our ways of life, minority students are lauded for the beliefs and feelings that they brought to the school. This kind of praise is not only disorienting but it has the effect of polarizing and dividing all students into opposing politically motivated camps while generating a culture of resentments the emotional plague in college classrooms and campuses across the nation. Experiencing the freedom of what it s like living in America for these foreign visitors which is unlike living in any other part of the world is slowly disappearing in these institutions of higher education as the emotional plague from the political Far-left, the Big Lie, claims another victory in its relentless battle to destroy this once great nation. In the past authoritarian era (prior to 1960) mass shootings rarely, if ever, occurred. Accompanying the transformation of society from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian in recent decades, there has been a dramatic shift in the pattern of armor in the younger generation (see below). These bio-physical changes are the primary, underlying, bio-social reasons for the dramatic rise in the incidence of mass shootings today. In the past, authoritarian social order the individual s destructive impulses and ideas were effectively bound (psychologically repressed) by muscular armor in the body. People generally were well-behaved on all social levels. There was a clear distinction between right and wrong. Criminals were considered a separate, but well defined segment of society. With the anti-authoritarian transformation of society there occurred a shift in people s armor from the musculature to the brain. The resultant increase in ocular armor was responsible for the breakdown of the armored structure of society and the rise in all degrees of impulsive behavior in people from the most benign to the most destructive forms of human acts, of which, the increase in mass shootings is the most deadly example. Accompanying the transformation, the genie the pestilence of the emotional plague was out of the bottle. Whenever mass shootings occur, the emotional plague from the political left is ready to respond and inject its venom by politicizing the tragedy, pandering to emotional sympathies of the public and generating confusion and all kinds of social mischief. Some examples are advocating gun control by the government, blaming Trump for exacerbating racial tensions , promoting the censorship of free speech of white supremacists etc. All of these suggestions are in the exclusive service of destroying the vitality of what remains intact of the existing authoritarian social order, another sign of the emotional plague. As explained above, they have nothing to do with the problem of mass shootings. Therefore, all they do is to generate social anarchy and increase the possibility of more mass shootings. The once highly respected specialty of American psychiatry is being destroyed by the emotional plague in the following stages: Stage 1. It first started with the destruction of Sigmund Freud s reputation as a psychiatric pioneer. Entire books were written in the 1960s in a campaign to discredit his clinical discoveries.Stage 2. Now it was possible to reject his psychological theories of the libido and of the importance of the psychosexual factors in human emotional development.Stage 3. These important theories were replaced with diagnostic manuals such as the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association. They were seemingly objective attempts to provide a common diagnostic language for psychiatrists based strictly on the patient s symptoms.Stage 4. The symptom based system could not work because any symptom can be a part of in any diagnostic category. However, it now became possible for the psychiatric researcher to declare that the DSM system is scientifically meaningless and to recommend that mental health professionals should think beyond diagnosis and consider other explanations of mental distress, such as trauma and other adverse experiences. These vague recommendations to understand psychiatric disorders were enough to reveal their uselessness. It was the final step in the rejection of psychiatry as a legitimate medical discipline. Recognizing the importance of emotional disturbances in psychosexual development is the only way that it is possible to have a legitimate psychiatric diagnostic system. The result of rejecting the crucial importance of these psychosexual factors is that the psychiatrist is left in limbo. Having no framework for understanding the patient s pathology in a physical manner, the science of psychiatry, in effect, is now becoming extinct. Comments 20 Comments One of the most obvious social phenomenon that is in front of everyone s eyes and that no-one sees the elephant in the room is the transformation of Western Society from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian that began around 1960. All of a sudden, human authority that had functioned for thousands of years as an organizing force responsible for maintaining and perpetuating Western civilization became a problem that had to be destroyed. Before this could be accomplished, the central authority figures that first had to be eliminated were its male leaders on all social levels. These we re the ones who had the power of enforcing the sexual suppression of the authoritarian, moral code. Eliminating sexual suppression and demanding the sexual freedom of young people were believed to be the final solutions to humanities problems. This was behind the sexual revolution of the 60s. As a result of this colossal blunder all hell broke loose.The social transformation that resulted is the background for the rise in almost all of the destructive social changes that have occurred since that time. The most important of these was the disintegration of the authoritarian family, the foundation of the authoritarian order. This social catastrophe has spawned all the other pathological social symptoms of our society. These include the public mystically looking for answers for the problems of society through politics, the rise in psychopathic and criminal activity of far-left politicians, the rise in drug related fatalities, the inability of young adults to take care of themselves as seen most dramatically in the increase in the homeless population nationwide and the general deterioration of society etc. All of these and other symptoms of the social pathology of the transformation continue to remain enigmatic because people do not have the functional tools of social orgonomy to understand them. Knowledge of the social forces underlying the transformation and why society was transformed from authoritarian to anti-authoritarian in the first place are necessary steps that must be taken before any functional knowledge can be applied to prevent further social decline. The elimination of the old authoritarian morality based on right and wrong and replacing it with the anything goes , new morality of political correctness.The true liberal cannot see the emotional plague because he lives primarily in his superficial layer and is therefore not in touch with the evilness in his own secondary destructive layer. His state of cluelessness produces the pressure of free-floating guilt that needs to be constantly relieved through mindless acts of forgiveness especially of others who operate from their secondary layer (i.e. criminals, political psychopaths etc.). His acts of kindness are not only destructive and highly contagious but they are self-serving because the liberal unconsciously identifies with these criminals. Having no real contact with the existence of evil in anyone, the liberal believes that all social problems can be solved through the good deeds of well-meaning people such as leftist politicians. The liberal who is mystical handles the problem of evil by distorting it and turning it into spirituality evil spirits. In psychiatric therapy, this mindset of the liberal gives rise to the wealth of alternative therapeutic approaches such as psychic healing, etc. Because the conservative has more contact with the deeper layers of armor than the true liberal, he believes in the reality of evil but, because of his mysticism, is unable to simultaneously see and believe in the physical existence of the emotional plague in everyday life.People in general are resistant to getting the concept of the disease, emotional plague, because it is hard for them to feel that the illness lives in everyone including in oneself. The only way that it has been accepted in the past was mystically through the distorted Christian idea of original sinfulness. However, this way is only of limited value because it avoids getting at its source, the underlying emotional (sexual) sickness of armored humans. People are too sick to be in touch with it.
