The commitment Torrington teachers, students, parents, and community members have made to music education was on display this spring at the All City Elementary Honors Orchestra Band Concert. Fifth graders from all five of the districts’ elementary schools, along with their middle and high school mentors, came together under the direction of band director Ashlee Casko and orchestra director Tia Ward-de Leonfor an evening performance that left parents and community members deeply inspired and impressed. Band Camp 2020 and Band Car Wash havebeen canceled.More information coming soon Wayne Splettstoezer is in his 22nd year as Director of Instrumental Music/ Music Technology at Torrington High School. His music technology program has been nationally recognized and featured at All-State conferences in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Texas.
