AnnouncementAfter 12 years of guide writing, campaigning, talks and helping on individual family law cases, ill-health has caused me to retire.I will keep my guides online for the next 12 months (these can be accessed from the Menu above), but please be aware I am not updating them now. I will continue to fund the site hosting until June 2019 when the site will be taken down. Out-of-date guides are not helpful and potentially can be misleading, which is why the guides will be removed at that point.I started the Custody Minefield with the object of helping both mums and dads, but ultimately children to maintain full relationships after separation. Achievements included my book reaching no.2 on Amazon s Divorce Chart (beaten by Paul McKenna) which was stocked by Waterstones and others, the campaign to change relocation law from adult centric to child focused, and work on legal arguments to address parental alienation.When it was announced legal aid would be substantially withdrawn in 2012, I wrote a 1.5million word series of online guides which were provided free of charge. This was completed in time for the change to legal aid funding.I wish everyone well, but will not be taking calls or emails on cases anymore. Doctors orders rest time.A last word of advice for people going through separation keep your arguments child focused, and if you want revenge, dig three graves one for you, one for your ex, and one for your child. Hostility hurts all concerned.
