Anyone wanting to engage in swaps activity will be required to meet NFA's Swaps Proficiency Requirements to be approved as a swap AP at an FCM, IB, CPO or CTA Member or an AP at an SD. Online enrollment must take place by January 31, 2021, and continued approval as a swap AP will be dependent on meeting the Swaps Proficiency Requirements. For more information about who must meet these requirements, see Notice to Members I-19-09.Swaps Proficiency Requirements Administrators: Designate and EducateBeginning January 31, 2020, NFA Members with associates required to meet Swaps Proficiency Requirements (SPRs) must designate a minimum of one SPR Administrator (also an ORS Security Manager) for enrollment and tracking purposes. SPR Admin forms are available on NFA's website. NFA will conduct two identical, free, required webinars to prepare SPR Admins: Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. CT/ 9:30 a.m. ET, and Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. CT/10:30 ET.
