Andrei s style captured us at first sight and since then we have watched him grow in popularity with more exhibitions and an ever-growing audience!   Reading newspapers and seeing images of faraway cities on TV instilled a passion for travel, which in turn became a spring board to creating his stunning artworks. Experiencing new cultures, surroundings and events, he photographed madly and widely and returned home to create amazing and vibrant international cityscapes which had become part of his own life experience. Neil says “I am inspired by the energy and colour of cities. I love to paint iconic architecture and imagery - hoping to spark a connection with the viewer, recreating memories of happy times spent in these dynamic cities”. With an aim to make people think about their surroundings he notes that, whilst most people are alienated by phones and busy lives, they can still be transfixed by nature - highlighted by TV shows such as David Attenborough documentaries.“We’re on Planet Earth and nature is all around us, we just don’t see it,” he muses.When creating his artwork, Dan calls upon techniques from his construction background. By initially painting in blocks, he is able to slowly build layers up to add movement to the finished product. Thanks to my Mother, stories were part of my life long before I was able to pick up a pencil.The magic of words held in stories of myth and legend lies deep within the ancient, unchangeable part of me. Once I began to draw, stories and paintings were always intertwined, inseparable. I have always been a dreamer and not very good with words, so Art is my way of translating the cosmic knowledge that is bound to my imagination. Ideas often come to me whilst I listen to a story, or a poem, or music. Or silence within a meditation. I learn from my paintings. As I paint them, they teach me.” We are delighted to have secured more fun, interesting original works by the very collectable Opake One. Over time, Opake has developed a distinct painting technique and combines both illustrative images with elements of graffiti to create new and exciting original works. Kealey says ‘Throughout my life I’ve always loved exquisite things so it’s been a natural process for me to incorporate this into my work. I love colour, reflections and fluid movements, I want people to be captivated by what they see and hope to make people feel good through my art’.  We are pleased to be showcasing the work of Onelife183, an inspirational New York Graffiti Artist.Weekends as a child for #Onelife183 was spent with his grandfather who himself was a keen artist who became an inspiration in his early years. As a teenager, experimenting in street art carved a path and put #Onelife183 on the journey which he is now on! Tony’s painting routine relies heavily on tapping into the unconscious by allowing the brush to lead the way, which kicks off a stream of images he then shepherds into a coherent whole.  Many of the images recur from picture to picture, reappearing like characters in a novel, building a narrative of their own… one chapter at a time.  He believes that, in this internet age where the written word has been greatly weakened, only radical imagery now has the power to reveal the human spirit.
