In a recent report, the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association cited a minor decrease in home sales from August 16-22 compared to the week before. While this decrease seems to suggest we are entering into a market slow down, we should pause for a moment to look at the comprehensive data. According to that same report, the number of sales that week is still well above average for the period, and active foreclosures are trending down. Because real estate is a multi-faceted industry, changes from week to week are common.
