________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Welcome to Chalet 67 and Chalet 68 I treasured the quiet sitting outside having a cup of tea We even managed a BBQ in the sunshine in May Children can run free - scoot, cycle their bike freely around the paths Distant ferry ship passing by Chalets with beautiful surroundings Heated indoor pool and baby pool We liked the fact that cars stay in the car park The site is well kept and has a small play park We recommend the place for a relaxing and quiet holiday The kids really enjoyed the cycling and the tennis court Mini-golf? If you approach from Dover along the A258 drive through Ringwould and turn right for Kingsdown. If you approach from Deal follow the coast road into Kingsdown. In Upper Street look out for an unmarked entrance opposite the Church; it is easy to miss. Drive in the entrance past the houses and up the steep hill into the car park which extends up to the top of the park.Click HERE for more information Inside the chalets are two comfortable leather sofas with a flat screen TV, DVD player and Freesat box to enjoy a film or two in the evening. Connect to the internet using the supplied code and whilst the contracted speeds are adequate please contact us if this is not the case. The heating is via oil filled radiators and the hot water switch is by the cooker; we turn this off when the water is hot and top up as and when required. The shower works independently so there's no need to wait for hot water. For added convenience there is a washing machine, coffee maker and freezer in the dining room. For provisions if you head back to Dover turn right at the top of Jubilee Way and take the first slip road to find a Lidl and further on a Tesco Supermarket at Whitfield; if you head for Deal locate the railway station to find a Sainsbury’s Supermarket and Aldi; and don't forget the village shops! Meals and snacks are served on the dining table or outside front or back on the tables provided.For more information click HERE You'll find bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom next to the bathroom. Up the steep stairs there is a double bed in the front bedroom, two singles in the back bedroom which has a smaller flat screen TV, with a toilet and wash basin on the middle landing. A travel cot is available to site at your convenience. All the beds have duvets, pillows and mattress protectors and we can provide bed linen and indoor towels but otherwise please remember to pack your own. It is a perfect base for walking and cycling trips along the coast and excursions to the picturesque seaside bays, gardens, concerts, towns, castles, adventure activities and attractions including a sea safari, animal parks, coastal parks, sports and water sports centres and shopping centres.
