When the post resurfaced today, school officials immediately opened an investigation and spoke directly with all involved. As a district, we pledge to take action by continuing to review our policies and practices, increasing culturally responsive professional development, updating our curriculum to be culturally relevant, and listening and responding to the experiences of our families of color. We know that there is much more to do. Comments (-1) Get to Know More About Kaleigh Schwarz In an effort to celebrate the incredible staff we have in our district, we wanted to highlight some of the phenomenal people who are making a difference in our schools and communities. Our latest featured employee is Kaleigh Schwarz, a Special Education Teacher at Buckman Heights Elementary School. Kaleigh has been a part of the Greece CSD for 11 years and has taught in an 8:1+1, 12:1+1, and ICT setting and now serves as a Consultant Teacher at Buckman Heights. Comments (-1) Families of Color Meetings Our mission is to bring together a strong collective of parents, concerned family members, and allies passionate about building a racially and economically just community for children in the Greece School District. Join us for our Families of Color Meetings on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Odyssey Academy Cafeteria. See attached flyer for complete schedule and details.
