Become a Member SCOUTS IN GREATER ACCRA DONATES TO DEPRIVED COMMUNITIES Greater Accra Region scouts in Ghana made donations to deprived communities in the Pokuase communities and its environs. The donation which was led by the Holly Boadi who is the greater Accra Regional commissioner. They donated veronica buckets. The scouts took turn to demonstrate the appropriate hand washing. This was to equip the communities to protect themselves against covid-19. The donations will go a long way to equip the communities during the covid-19 pandemic. About fifty scouts were involved in the exercise. Inclusion Ghana in collaboration with Scouts in Brong Ahafo Region Ghana Scout Association is currently having a working relationship with Inclusion Ghana, an organization working with the disability in society on Diversity and Inclusion Project. As part of the project, Scouts in Brong Ahafo Region in collaboration with Inclusion Ghana organized a one week program for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in the Nkronza District. Brong Ahafo Scouts donate to deprived communities in the fight against Covid-19 The Brong Ahafo Regional scouts led by their regional commissioner, Abubakari Zakari made donations of locally manufactured veronica buckets to communities in Kintampo, Nsawkaw and Techiman to help fight the covid-19 pandemic. The veronica buckets are designed to enable water flow through a tape fixed at the base to adequately wash hands. The communities were taken through appropriate hand washing skills. The regional commissioner urged the communities to make good use of the buckets to keep them safe. He indicated that regular hand washing will help them to keep safe from covid-19. He urged them to possibly place the buckets at vantage points in the community to give access to more people to use it. He also called on organisations to come in and support them in this fight against covid-19.
