We empower children to grow into productive citizens in their communities through the benefits of education. Children around the world are given the educational materials needed for success in the classroom with the help of corporate partners and educators. After a disaster strikes, we deliver drinking water, hygiene items and shelf stable food to affected communities. When we work with community partners, we support our neighbors and work together towards recovery. We provide food to children and families all over the world, as well as training on the importance of a nutritious diet. With proper nutrition early in life, children can grow, develop and thrive to their full potential. We work with local organizations to ensure families living in poverty receive much-needed supplies. Poverty leads to hunger — but if we work together, we can create a world where no child goes to bed hungry. Through our programs, we promote healthy immune systems and enable children to develop through adolescence and into adulthood. We teach adults the skills necessary in business and financial management to provide for their families. Through our Village Savings and Loan programs, we hope families will be self-reliant, financially stable and able to support and strengthen their communities. El Salvador Feed the Children has been working in El Salvador since 1987 to provide hope and resources to those without life s essentials.
