Since 2011, WWE has held more than 150 bullying prevention rallies and the Be a STAR resources and programs have reached nearly half a million children globally.The original Be a STAR bullying prevention curriculum was created by the National Education Association Health Information Network and True Educator, Inc. The teacher’s resource guide aligned with national education standards to complement existing curriculums.In 2017, through a new collaboration between the Boys Girls Clubs of America and the Yale Center For Emotional Intelligence, the Be a STAR curriculum was revamped in an effort to give students the tools they need to drive effective learning, decision-making, creativity, relationships and mental health. By developing each child’s emotional intelligence, children can become happier, healthier and more compassionate, leading to a drastic increase in the ability to manage conflict and reduce the amount of bullying instances. The goal of the new Be a STAR curriculum, focused on social and emotional learning, will be to ultimately reduce incidents of bullying and provide a safe environment for kids to learn and grow.  In addition to being available to teachers worldwide, this new curriculum is available to all 4,300 Boys Girls Clubs across the country.
