We have had an amazing year at Badlion Client thanks to all of you. The stats speak for themselves below, but I would like to highlight on a few other things before you dive into the stats. In 2021 we are going to be kicking off some new initiatives with some cleanup, improvements, and also some cool new web projects for Badlion Client. We have increased our web team and are planning on upping our statistics tracking for all of you to learn more about your time with Badlion Client. We are excited about this new direction for our team, and the project overall. It is no surprise that this has been our best year for Badlion Client yet. We have been crazy hard work this year on Badlion Client, and our development team is taking off some much needed time during the holiday season this year. As you are all aware, we have released Badlion Client 3.0 to the world, and every day we are seeing more users swap from BLC2 to BLC3. We are excited to continue to improve and grow the Badlion Client 3.0 experience during the 2021 year.I wanted to make this quick forum post to talk over our commitment to improving the performance of Badlion Client 3.0 in 2021 even further than we already have. We began working on the FPS performance issues about 1-2 months ago, and from then we have seen tremendous gains depending on the hardware configuration. In some cases we saw as much as an 80% improvement from BLC2 - BLC3 using top tier hardware (e.g. RTX 3080 / AMD 5950x). We think this is an awesome start, but we definitely want to push the bar further in 2021. Not everyone has top of the line hardware, and many of our users are using older hardware that don t have much VRAM, or as many advanced driver features available.This is just the beginning for us with BLC 3.0 with the performance and FPS. We are seeing on average an increase of 20% for all of the users swapping from Badlion Client 2.0 - 3.0. Today unfortunately is not one of the happy announcement days, but rather a day of sharing information with the community, and being transparent about what is happening behind the scenes as we finish off the 2020 year.I know there is a small but very alive Linux community that plays and enjoys Minecraft, and that many of you have been waiting for patiently for us to bring support to Linux. After many months of hard work we are so close to releasing it, but unfortunately we just are not going to be able to complete the release before the end of 2020.
