Vaden Health Center is open for business and ready to support you during the COVID-19 outbreak. COVID-19 Information for StudentsIn the interest of promoting the safest possible experience for our patients and providers, Vaden Health Center asks any student who wishes to be seen for a medical appointment to book a Phone Visit via the Vaden Patient Portal or to call the health center (650-498-2336) before coming in directly. Our medical professionals will advise you as to next steps. For Covid Testing information, please see below: Covid Testing for Symptomatic Individuals We recommend testing if you have any of the following Fever New cough Shortness of breath We also recommend testing if you have 2 or more of the following Chills or repeated shaking with chills Headache New lost of taste and/or smell Sore throat Muscle pain Make a Phone Visit with a Vaden clinician if you think you have symptoms to determine next steps. Click here if you need assistance after hours. Covid Testing for Asymptomatic Individuals (Additional information is available here.) Verily Life Sciences is conducting COVID-19 screening for asymptomatic students who are coming or returning to campus, and will be conducting ongoing surveillance testing for students who will be on campus in Autumn. An appointment is required for testing. You can register here. Slots for testing appointments are made available on an ongoing basis (in weekly bocks), so please check back if you are unable to book the date you need. (Note - you may only book on appointment at a time.) Testing will take place at the Arrillaga Alumni Center (326 Galvez Street). Students should not expect any out-of-pocket expense for this testing. Plan to wear a face covering and practice physical distancing as part of this process. Bring your Stanford ID Students with significant symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell) should contact Vaden Health Services or another healthcare provider for evaluation and testing. Additional Information on COVID-19Note: If you have tested positive for COVID-19, please review recommendations from Santa Clara County.Get updates about Medical Services, CAPS, CST, Weiland, Well-Being@Stanford and Cardinal Care during the COVID-19 outbreak here If you do not have symptoms associated with COVID, but believe you need a test because of exposure or another reason, you can also schedule a test through Stanford Health Care without a clinician order: - If you have a MyHealth at Stanford account, you can make an appointment through Stanford Health Care's MyHealth website or via the MyHealth mobile app - If you don't have a MyHealth at Stanford account, you can sign up at myhealth.stanford.org (indicate no access code) OR call Stanford Health Care at 650-498-9000.  Vaden Services Important Information for Students (last update 09.16.2020)Entrance Health Requirements (Incoming Students)If you have not yet submitted your entrance health forms, please do so immediately. Failure to comply will result in a hold on your future ability to enroll in courses. More information about entrance health requirements can be found here. Do your part to keep our campus healthy!Health Insurance Decision ALL incoming students MUST make a decision about health insurance (i.e., to remain enrolled in Cardinal Care, or to waive coverage if using another plan). If you missed the September 15, 2020 deadline to acknowledge or waive enrollment in Cardinal Care, submit a Service-Now ticket today. Coverage for enrollees started September 1, 2020.
