1 in 5 Oregonians live with food insecurity. At Urban Gleaners we collect delicious, fresh food before it can go to waste. And we get it to people who need it. Pure and simple. Collect We pick-up from our growing roster of donor restaurants, grocery stores, corporate campuses, event sites, colleges and universities, farms, and food wholesalers. Sort & Package At our Central Portland warehouse we sort and package the donated food into family-sized portions. This is high-quality and wholesome food. Distribute We have over 40 sites in the Portland Metro area, at schools through our Food To Schools program, at our public Mobile Markets at parks and apartment complexes, and through a variety of hunger services organizations. Donate MoneyLet’s end hunger in our community. There is so much great, healthy food here! Together we can feed hungry children and their families and make our whole community healthier.
