I have no idea what s going on with this tiny upside down sculpture or whatever it is. I do like it though, I think it s pretty cool how how it seems to just be balancing there. This is right in middle of the East Village in Calgary. That is one think I like about Calgary, Places like this are so calming. This is a popular park in Kelowna, but if you get right down to the river you re really all alone. Sometimes being isolated can be nice, sometimes not. I guess it all depends on how busy life is at the moment. Anyhow, this spot on the creek is nice Ok so this lake isn t called Moody Lake. It s just the Okanagan Lake here in Kelowna, but moment I shot this photo it there was a definite moody vibe in the air. It was a strange day, because only moments before this it was nice and sunny, but as the clouds moved over the sun Took a walk in the park yesterday and enjoyed some beautiful fall weather. And I m thankful I did because it is snowing out right now! You know what, I ll go take a picture of my backyard for you right now and come back and finish this. . . Ok got the picture, it will be This gigantic apple is at the beach near my house. This is actually the back of the apple. They sell ice cream, soda and who knows what else out of the front in the summer time. It s a pretty cool stand actually and I think it s a nice unique touch to the beach. People grow My wife Michelle and I were at the park with Juneau yesterday. I had my camera so I figured I d shoot a few photos of her since it s been awhile. The last picture in this post is funny to me because I had her sitting on this cliff for a picture. I shot two quick In early September I had the exciting experience of my first photo shoot using my Pentax 6 7 medium format film camera. I had been waiting on this day for a very long time so my excitement was through the roof. My brother in-law Robert was helping me out by modelling for me. I decided to I bought this Pelican style case for my Pentax 6 7. I never thought I d ever want to use a case like this for a camera. But when I thought about traveling with my 6 7 the idea of it banging around in the back of a car with a bunch of other suitcases in just a Just a few shots from this past summer when I was down in Penticton. Penticton is a town is about 45 minutes south of Kelowna where I live. I honestly thought I d have spent more time down there this year, but for whatever reason I only got down there a couple of times. This day This block is one of my favourite blocks in the city and it has been since before the library(the modern white building in the back of the scene) opened. To camera left there used to be this crazy old gas station that looked like it hadn t changed in about 60 years haha, it was amazing. The weekend I was back in Calgary I shot a ton of photos. I was only in town for two very quick days, so with what little time I was actually in the city I made sure to shoot a lot of photos. Here are a few street shots from around this one intersection in This house on the corner looks so unassuming on the outside, but I bet it s amazing on the inside. The house itself looks pretty big and has multiple terraces with what looks to be a nice little third (or forth floor, depending on what street your looking from) floor stand alone room or studio. Whatever Ever wonder just how much abuse a camera lens can take before scratches will start to show up? I use UV filters, mainly for protection and I was wondering this exact question so I decided to put a lens to the test. I tried cleaning the lens with a few different things.
