The Stanford Global Projects Center is located at the Yang Yamazaki Energy Environment (Y2E2) building at Stanford University. We research new ways to finance, develop, and invest in critical infrastructure worldwide. This past April (of 2020), GPC s Executive Ashby Monk, Ph.D and Research Engineer Dane Rook, Ph.D released their book THE TECHNOLOGICAL INVESTOR: INNOVATION THROUGH REORIENTATION. Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt stated that it is a detailed, cogent road map for organizations such as pension funds to harness technology and truly invest for the long-term. During May 2019, Global Projects Center held its annual Global Investment Operations and Technology Symposium with AustralianSuper. GPC held its 3rd Annual Disruptive Technology Digital Cities Summit at the Arrillaga Alumni Center in June 2019. Addressing urban infrastructure needs in the United States, GPC s Michael Bennon, Julie Kim, and Professor Raymond Levitt take a look at impediments to the adoption of new models for urban infrastructure development and finance. The Stanford Global Projects Center The Global Projects Center is an interdisciplinary research center at Stanford University.
