Click here for the CDC information fact sheet, or visit their website.**********************************************In order to minimize the risk of an allergy shot reaction we want to remind all of our allergy shot patients to please take the following steps:1. Make sure you take your antihistamine medication in the morning before coming in for your allergy shot.2. Before getting your allergy shot please let the shot nurse know if you have been having a bad allergy or asthma flare this week.3. Please remain in the waiting room for at least 30 minutes after your shot. Most allergy shot reactions occur within the first 30 minutes post-injection.4. Make sure your epinephrine auto-injector (Epipen) is easily accessible and that you know how to use it should you develop an allergy shot reaction after leaving the office.Let's keep this a safe and effective experience!We aim to provide exceptional, compassionate medical care for adults and children with allergy, asthma, and immunologyconcerns. Dr. Joann H. Lin has been practicing in the area forseveral years and is proud to support this growing community.We have a fully equipped and trained staff that practices the specialty of allergic conditions and potentially life-threatening allergic reactions. We provide allergy services on a FULL-TIME basis and not as an intermittent, supplemental procedure to our regular medical services.Our Services:Where To Find Us Payment/Insurance Copayment is expected when services are rendered unless other arrangements are made in advance.If you are scheduled for allergy skin testing, please refrain from taking anyantihistamine medications for5 days prior to your visit because they may interfere with test results.Antihistamine ListThe following non-antihistamine medications may be taken prior to allergy skin testing.
