ICCM is an international, non-governmental, not-for-profit, scientific and engineering organization dedicated to composite materials. Our Mission To encourage the free interchange of information on all those aspects related to composite materials and structures which are of interest to the scientific and engineering community. To guide and foster the understanding and utilization of the science and technology of composite materials. To promote international cooperation in the study of topics in composite materials science and technology. To promote liaison with engineering and scientific bodies throughout the world with similar aims and to serve as a facilitator for communication between such bodies. To foster an environment for timely and cost-effective research, development, and implementation of advanced composite technology. To encourage the education of young specialists in the disciplines supporting composite materials science and technology. To recognize individuals of outstanding achievement in the science, technology, engineering, and application of composite materials. To promote diversity and inclusion across the global community of people working in the fields of the science, technology, engineering, and application of composite materials. ICCM encourages the participation of people with a diversity of backgrounds and experiences along many dimensions, regardless of characteristics including but not limited to nationality, gender, race, ethnic background, disability, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, and socio-economic status. An objective of ICCM is to achieve an environment rich in intellectual variety and respect for the individual, optimally suited to address the need of the future in the fields of the science, technology, engineering, and application of composite materials, with diversity recognized as a driver for innovation and growth. Our History The main mechanism for achieving our goals is the organization of the International Conferences on Composite Materials. These conferences are held every two years, having started in 1975.
