Description:

BlogI m happy to see that the number of visitors to this blog is going up, even when I did not update that much this year. Especially the super ultra-wide wallpapers are getting the most visits every day. It has just been such a strange year. But that s the same for everyone. Hopefully, next year is more normal than this one. Foggy night at the Charles bridgeIt has been a while since I edited a photo and this one is not really an easy one. Fog likes to create a lot of color banding in photos, and it was the same in the sky with this one. I had to add a huge amount of noise into the sky to get rid of most of it, but I feel like there is still a bit there. But I did not want to add more. If you want to know more about this, check out my guide on removing color banding here. In this photo the Charles bridge in Prague, with a very large number of birds around it. Yes, every dot on the water is a bird, and there were even more there. Taken already in 2018, during an early spring trip there. This is a single exposure, broken up into two and then blended back together. My Surface Pro 4 is slowly starting to have problems, so I thought it was time for something new. And Just a few random shots taken with my phone while on different locations around Dolomites in Italy. The weather in Italy has not been the best, but I still hope I got few good shots. Here is Finally I have a place to put the 360 camera. If I don t forget it at home, I will try Most visitedLooking at the statistics over the last months on the blog, the Super ultra-wide wallpapers have been dominating with a big part of all the visits. The overall visits to the blog recovered a bit after the last year drop, but not completely. Still, I want to say big thank you to all that have been regularly visiting the blog over the years. It s always a big motivation to continue working on it. And let s do even more wallpapers today :)Don t forget to check out other available wallpapers:4K wallpapers Single Screen Surface, 21:9 and dual-screen Super ultra-wide Mobile wallpapersA view from ParisI have been neglecting the blog a bit this year, which I m not happy about. But with working a different job right now, to get over this crazy times, I m not really in the mood to spend even more time at the PC every day. I m just happy when I can turn it off in the evening, and don t look at it anymore. But it s not a good situation, I need to get back into it. The longer I delay that, the harder it gets. At least the muscle memory from years of editing is still there and using Photoshop as easy as ever. Opening Photoshop after weeks of not using it is just the same as before. So for today, here is a shot from long time ago, taken one evening in Paris. For those curious, this is a blend of three exposures, edited a bit in Camera Raw and then blended in Photoshop, with few edits on top. UpdateSo my plan to get back to posting to the blog really did not work out. Right as I planed a first trip, to get some new photos, we got a pandemic. I do hope all of you are safe and healthy and enduring this crazy situation. I m doing fine, staying at home, working, but of course not on photos. I do really feel the need to go out again, and run around with the camera, but that has to wait for now. Hopefully this all ends soon, but who knows. And as I don t have any new photos, here are more super ultra-wide wallpapers for you. Don t forget to check out other available wallpapers:4K wallpapers Single Screen Surface, 21:9 and dual-screen Super ultra-wide Mobile wallpapers State of the blogFor a while now there ware no updates here. Between the new job, moving to a new flat (which was not planned) and the ugly weather I just had no energy to work on it. But I don t like this state, as I want the blog to continue as it always did. I just have been tired and not in the mood to spend my evenings in front of a computer after doing it the whole day. But the weather is getting better, the sunrises and sunset look nicer, and my need to get some new photos is also bigger. So I m not sure how and when I get back to posting, but I will one day soon. New 4K wallpapersAnd so this post is not so boring, here are some new 4K wallpapers for you. Today they are all from Manarola and Vernazza in Cinque Terre in Italy.
