La tenacia, l’amore e la costanza dei giardinieri consorziati, nella cura degli agrumeti attraverso pratiche tramandate nei secoli, divengono garanzia assoluta della qualità, genuinità e tipicità degli agrumi del Gargano, che non devono competere con i prodotti dell’agricoltura industriale, standardizzati e spesso transgenici.Il profumo e la fragranza degli agrumi garganici hanno in se una bontà e storia, un’ intensità che solo la natura vera e incontaminata può transfondere. L’indicazione geografica protetta IGP è riservata a particolari specie di arance e limoni prodotti esclusivamente nell’area del Promontorio denominata “Oasi agrumaria del Gargano”. I frutti maturano completamente sulla pianta e vengono destinati al consumo e alla trasformazione rispettando le condizioni e i requisiti previsti nel disciplinare di attribuzione del marchio.
