G L Bark Supply was started in Spanaway in 1989 by Gordon Garl and family.  Beginning with one small dump truck for home deliveries, we’ve grown to a fleet of four full size dump trucks.  As our name implies, we do carry beauty bark; in fine, medium and “nugget” grades. We also carry several types of gravel; clean crushed or with binder, as well as drain rock, river rock, pea gravel, etc.  Our Soil mixes are processed on site by taking in screenable black soil  mixing in composted manures.  We also  provide a wide variety of colored rock, and pallets of flagstone.G L Bark Supply provides the Pierce County area with a huge selection of landscaping supplies; including compost, river rock, top soil, quarry rock, fill dirt, crushed rock, gravel, colored rock and much, much more.Come on by and take a look….we look forward to meeting you! Calculate How Much You Need Absolutely love G&L. We have purchased gravel from them before, and I was excited to try them this year for our flocked Christmas Tree! Went in expecting to get white, but once I found out they can do colors too, I just had to have PINK (with opal shimmer added too, of course!). We had never had a flocked tree before and they were patient answering my questions so we made our selection and came back next day to pick it up. I think it turned out awesome! First time home owner so this was my first time getting soil for anything. Everyone I talked to was really helpful and took the time to walk me through what I was looking for. They delivered 5CY of "Garden Mix" the next day, on time, and the driver was friendly as well! What a great business to deal with, thank you! Feels like family. They are helpful and accommodating and friendly. We can pick up 10 yards or a small bucket. We pull in with our trailer and park along the side of their yard. We go Inside their office to order and pay then return to our car and pull up towards the back of the property where an experienced equipment operator loads our trailer. They are courteous and efficient. Wanted to say thank you G&L Bark & Supply. Had another great dealing with this place. Had rock delivered and the did an amazing job. Yard looks amazing and perfect. Thanks you n keep up with the great work. Definitely a fantastic business to buy from. They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. G&L employees are very helpful when u need to determine what u actually need for the job u are trying to accomplish. I personally would highly recommend them and would not go elsewhere. THANKS G&L
