Read More Welcome!The Department of Computer Science offers exciting and high quality undergraduateand graduatedegree programs and certificates.
At the undergraduate level, we offer three BS degrees: computer science, computing technology, and cybersecurity. We also offer minor in computer scienceand certificatesin Artificial Intelligence, Computer Programming, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Internet and Web, Mobile Apps and Computing. Students in any of the degree programs can take the certificates(s) to further specialize following specific interests. In many cases this will not require additional hours, depending on degree program and certificate. The certificates can also be taken by students from other majors or nonstudents interested just in the certificate.
At the graduate level, we offermaster's in computer science, masters in cybersecurity as well as a doctoral program in mathematical and computational sciences with an option in computer science covering a wide range of areas including cybersecurity. In addition, we offer graduate certificatesin Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Internet and Web, and Mobile Apps and Computing. Students in any of the programs can also take the certificates, with master's in computer science having a specific option for a certificate as a part of the program.
Many of our programs and courses are offered online or evening, look for and. Our programs are a part of the DHS/NSA university recognition for excellence in cybersecurity education. We are also starting ABET accreditation.
