Letter from the President:Welcome to the University of Washington Delta Gamma chapter!Three years ago, when I was considering going through recruitment, I was unsure if I would thrive in the Greek community. Ultimately, I decided to try it out because I wanted to make friends and be a part of an organization with strong values. Looking back, my experience in sorority life has exceeded my expectations in every way. Delta Gamma has given me life-long friendships and some of the fondest memories of my college experience. The genuine support I ve received through academics, professional development, philanthropy, and social activities is incomparable.Delta Gamma s motto is Do Good and I see members of Beta chapter embody this every day.One of our proudest achievements is hosting our annual philanthropy event, Anchor Splash. In spring of 2019, this event raised $86,000 for Service for Sight, our national organization that provides resources to vision-impaired individuals. We also completed over 2,000 volunteer hours throughout the Seattle area and nationwide.There is something truly special about this chapter. These girls have celebrated with me through life s highs and comforted me in its lows. Delta Gamma has become my home and has kept me anchored . I encourage you to view our website for a glimpse into our sisterhood, history, and opportunities.
