Our Vision

The Stone Bridge School is a community of families and teachers using Waldorf inspired teaching methods to nourish and educate our children. We recognize and benefit from the character, vitality, history, and diversity of the Napa Valley, and in turn, offer an alternative educational choice.

We have developed a powerful vision: a public school with a consistent philosophy, curriculum, and teaching method that embraces the developmental model of the growing child and awakens each childs full and unique potential. Waldorf inspired education nurtures a sense of wonder and delight, and fosters the reverence for nature and humanity inherent in the young child. The Waldorf inspired curriculum develops the childs active will, creative imagination, and clear, independent thinking.

Custodian ~ approximately 20-30 hrs/week M-F

Part-Time Diversity Outreach Coordinator ~ approximately 10-15 hrs/week

Substitute Teachers  - Candidates must hold a current California credential or a 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.  Waldorf teaching experience highly desirable.

Substitute Assistants - Classroom experience preferred and Waldorf experience desirable.
